Vaccinations Year 9 & 10

'MEN ACWY/DTP' vaccinations will be in the Foundation Room on Tues 17 and Wed 18 May.

You will get an appointment slip from your tutor.

Students please wear your PE tops and remember to have breakfast on the day.

Online Work Experience for Students aged 14-17

A range of online work experience (WEX) sessions are available March - June for careers in: Dentistry, Medicine, Midwifery, Psychology, Business, Architecture, Law, Veterinary Medicine, Computer Science and Performing Arts.

If you're in Y11 and you'd like some extra help with English, or would like to make quicker progress, come along to English matters after school on Wednesdays at 3.40 in A116.  We will begin by working on how to do well in the mocks!  We'd love to have a full house. There will be snacks!

Exams 16 May - 28 June 2022

Year 11 students will begin their exams on Monday 16 May. This is a very important time for our students and we would ask you to ensure that when you see the exams signs displayed outside the Dome and around school this will indicate an exam is in progress and you should remain quiet at all times.

Top of C block closure for exams

The top floor of C block will be closed for the summer exams season from the 16 May to the 24 June and all usual classes there have been re-roomed. Your teacher will let you know where your class has been moved to in advance but if unsure on the day, room signs showing your new rooms for that day will be displayed in the stairwell of C block on the first floor

Top field lost balls

Please take care when playing ball games on the top field as balls lost over the fence into Abbeygate cannot be retrieved. Under no circumstances should students attempt to retrieve balls themselves.

Lost balls will be put back over the fence, by Abbeygate staff, at some point during the day.
